By His Stripes We Are Healed

1. Alone and forsaken, by those who should care,
With no one to cuddle, and left to despair,
But God, in compassion, gave ear to a cry,
As a young girl took notice, to a babys faint cry.

2. Amid all the rubbish, in an old garbage can,
Lay a tiny small figure, who was near to lifes end,
Wrapped up in a blanket, with ice on the ground,
Just a tiny small infant, Baby Snow there was found.

3. Like so many others, of those who dont care,
With homes that are broken, and lives without prayer,
There, without Jesus, with no future or hope,
As a blind man whos searching, through the darkness we grope.

4. Dear mothers left lonely, by dads without care,
While children so precious, sink down to despair,
A bar room of laughter, and money to spend,
On wild, lustful passions, that cause men to sin.

5. That lone Galilean, mans only true friend,
Who went to Golgotha, there to free us from sin,
God so loved the world, friend, that He truly gave,
His only begotten that man might be saved.

Chorus: Oh, what is the answer, of this dreadful estate,
Of tormented spirits, and horrible fate?
Just one glimpse of Calvry, and the blood Jesus spilled,
Will change us forever, by His stripes we are healed.
